Psalm 47
To the Chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. Upon Alamoth. A Song
O all ye peoples! clap the hand; Shout unto God with the voice of exultation;
For Jehovah is high, terrible, A great king over all the earth.
He hath put in order the people under us, And the nations under our feet.
He hath chosen for us our inheritance, The glory of Jacob, whom he hath loved. Selah.
Gone up is God with a shout, Jehovah with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing psalms to God, sing psalms; Sing psalms to our King, sing psalms;
For king of all the earth is God; Sing praises, all ye who understand!
The kingdom he hath obtained over the heathen; God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
The princes of the peoples are assembled together To the people of the God of Abraham: For to God belong the shields of the earth: He is greatly exalted.
